In North Texas, a relief effort is underway to help residents cope with the heat. Vulnerable individuals are being protected from extremely high temperatures.

A total of 13 stations have been set up across the region to provide a cooler space and hydration. These stations are spread out over five counties.

Further information about these cooling stations can be found through the Salvation Army of North Texas, which initiated this effort to safeguard local residents from the dangers of triple-digit temperatures.
