A North Texas woman has pleaded guilty to wire fraud in connection with an unlicensed breeding facility. The facility, which bred German Shepherds, was operated without a license and sold unhealthy animals.

The woman, Kristine Hicks of Cumby, used falsified papers in the operation of the facility. Dozens of animals were left in poor conditions as a result of her actions.

Further details about the case are available from FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth. The guilty plea is the known outcome of the case, but additional information may be found through the news source.
