A group of students from Marcus High School are sharing their knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with younger community members. The students, known as the Marcus STEMsters, organize programs and events to provide hands-on experience for young participants.

These events are gaining momentum, with plans to host activities around Flower Mound. One such event, a "Marshmallow Catapult" event, is scheduled to take place at the Flower Mound Public Library.

This event is designed for kids in grades Kindergarten through fifth grade, where they can work on projects and make connections while exploring the basics of kinetic energy by making marshmallow catapults.
