A house fire in the area resulted in the death of a child. The fire occurred overnight and is currently being investigated by Fort Worth firefighters.

At the time of the fire, there were five children and their parents inside the home. A bystander, Leon Segura, happened to be driving by and saw smoke coming from the house. He took action and rescued two of the children from the burning building.
