A new residential community is taking shape in southwest Denton. The 3,100-acre Cole Ranch development has broken ground, marking a significant milestone in the area's growth.

The community is expected to feature a large number of single-family homes, with a substantial portion of the land set aside as green space. The development is named after Miner Thomas "MT" Cole, who originally purchased the land in the 1930s.
