Autonomous vehicle company Zoox is expanding to North Texas. The company has informed state regulators that testing of their fleet will begin this month. A safety operator will be present in each vehicle during testing.

The fleet consists of twelve vehicles. Prior to the start of testing, Zoox has been mapping the city since March. The company has also been in contact with city officials, although details of these interactions are not specified.

Further information about Zoox's testing in Dallas can be found through local news sources, including NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth.
