A tragic incident occurred in northeastern Thailand, resulting in the loss of lives. An 11-year-old boy was involved in a crash with a group of monks who were on a pilgrimage walk. The incident happened in Mukdahan province, approximately 600 kilometers northeast of Bangkok.
The crash killed eight monks and injured several others. A total of 14 monks were hospitalized, with some in critical condition. The group of 35 monks was on a 260-kilometer walk when the incident occurred.
